Background: Inappropriate and excessive use of gadgets can cause addiction interfere with physical, psychological, emotional health, increase social isolation, negatively affect development, especially in children. The resulting impact will be greatly influenced by the role parents, family environment. Purpose: This study aims to understand what education provided parents children gadget addiction, along how choose toys alternative games for reduce this addiction. Methods: design used article was a narrative review that involved collecting analyzing journals using keywords "addiction", "children", "education", "parent" "gadget"; obtained 10 journal articles from PubMed, two ScienceDirect, 14 Google Scholar published between 2015–2020, three books, one collection survey data web.
